CONGRATULATIONS to the (semi-)finalists!
We thank all participants for sending in your beautiful videos. We also wish to thank our brilliant adjudicators for their careful consideration in selecting the semi-finalists

We wish the (semi-)finalists all the best in the preparations for the live performances. We look forward to meeting everyone in April …

The master and bachelor students will play live in the semi-final round on April 19 and 20. In the end 3 master and 3 bachelor students will play with orchestra in the grand final round on Friday April 22nd in the afternoon.

The final round for the category young talents will be held on Saturday April 23rd.

HeartForUkraine

First our participants were confronted with the Corona pandemic, and now with the war in Ukraine. In line with all other cultural and educational organisations we are taking a clear stand on this matter: we will not be working together with any person or entity showing allegiance to Russia or Belarus.

We do not hold individual participants responsible for this war, and, therefore, students from Ukraine, Russia and Belarus are still allowed to take part in the Dutch International Flute Competition.

To be absolutely clear about this issue, we are adding two new guidelines to our regulations:

We condemn the actions of the leaders of Russia and Belarus and we will not accept any expressions of sympathy with these actions. If any participants express sympathy, in any form whatsoever, they will be disqualified with immediate effect and denied further access to the competition and residential locations.

Participants must be physically present to participate in this competition. Online participation only applies to the preliminary rounds of the bachelor and master student categories.

The final rounds of www.flutecompetition.com with the South Netherlands Philharmonic marks the start of the 15th International Adams Flute Festival

Visit the website and buy your tickets online for the masterclasses, workshops and concerts during this weekend from April 22 to 24, 2022. The entrance to the festival itself is for free! 

Don't forget to meet & greet the world famous Sir James Galway and many other renowned flute players who will inspire you during this festival.

We are looking forward to meet everybody again!
