Call: 16th Dutch International Flute Competition
Perform, connect, and grow in one of Europe’s most inspiring flute competitions. Designed especially for students, this competition has become a true launching pad for many future professionals. We offer you a well-organized competition, a great festival and the opportunity to gain contacts for life...
Are you a bachelor's or master's flute student or are you a young talent? Then register for your own category. Every year, more than 150 flute students from 25 different countries and all continents participate in this competition.
The traverso competition will be rescheduled to a different date and location. In 2027 we will organize a piccolo competition again.
January 1: closing date for online pre-registration January 10: ticket sales for the Adams Flute Festival February 1: closing date for submitting all videos March 1: announcement of the participant's selection April 14 & 15: 2nd round (live) April 16: 3rd round (live) April 17: rehearsal day and start of the festival April 18: Grand finale with Philzuid orchestra April 18: concert with the prize winners and orchestra April 19: final round young talents June 3: concert in the Concertgebouw Amsterdam lees meer/read more |

Grand Finale with Philzuid
We are delighted that the string players of Philzuid will once again take part in the Grand Finale for Bachelor’s and Master’s students. As the orchestra of the south of the Netherlands, Philzuid is known for its vibrant performances and its connection with audiences of all generations.
The conductor is Carlo Jans from Luxembourg, whose artistic energy is matched by his extensive experience as both a flute player and a conductor.

Save the date: 19th International Adams Flute Festival
Save the date: ticket sale will start on January 10th at 10:00 am (CET). Make sure you are on time because the tickets will sell out very quickly! We hope to see you again during the festival.
For 3 days we immerse ourselves again in an international group of flute players, amateurs, students and professionals, to gain new experiences, to exchange ideas, to get lessons, to play along, to test, to catch up, to listen to concerts and the flute competition, in short: to dive into a colourful world of like-minded flute players... lees meer/read more |
